These are photographs of my hometown, Missoula MT.  I use a Panasonic Lumix and operate under the principle that it doesn't take a lot of money to take a good picture.  I use photography as a type of journaling.  Though I'm a writer, I don't feel at ease keeping a journal so these photographs help me remember what I've seen and where I've been.  In general, I don't like to take a camera when walking trails because I focus only on taking pictures rather than the experience of hiking.  However, as presented in the slideshow, I have broken that rule a few times.
